Applique Frenzy Blog: Clearing Out, Organizing and Selling Some Blanks

We moved to NC this past summer and decided to rent until we got to know the area. After living here for 7 months we have chosen some favorite neighborhoods and houses. So now the search begins (or should i say it gets narrowed down). We have some choice picks and we will see how it plays out from here. When were moving from Florida I literally packed for months (with some de-cluttering in the process) and as i watched our house and garage quickly fill with boxes and boxes and more boxes galore, I promised myself that I would never do that (packing, moving and unpacking all the stuff) again . So, how am I going to avoid that in this move? I am going to sell everything (well, not everything but as much as possible). I have decided I will craigslist any furniture that I don't absolutely LOVE, I am getting rid of clothes that we don't wear or we don't really LOVE.
I figure Its a good time to change my decorating style and colors. I will keep you posted with our house hunt, our furniture purchases, and our decorating. I am getting so way ahead of myself but I love decorating and I have been quite the frustrated decorator since this house is a rental and I am not even allowed to put a nail in the wall (which i finally broke down and did, so i guess we will probably lose part of our deposit).
